Step 1 — Eviction Notice Posted Day 0

Most Alabama evictions start with a 7-Day Notice for unpaid rent or lease violations.

This is a warning — not yet a court eviction.

Step 2 — Notice Period Days 1–7

During this time:

Court has not yet started

Step 3 — Court Eviction Filed

If the issue isn’t resolved:

Landlord files in court

You’ll receive official court papers
